A very nice DirecTV man is coming to my house just before lunch tomorrow to bring me a new receiver for the living room. We are stepping up in the world and finally getting a DVR. Why now? Well, I don't have a lot of time for television when I am in school and there are programs that I would really hate to miss. I usually forget that they are even on and then never get to see them until they are in rerun stage. This way, I can program the ones that I want to watch later and maybe get to them in a month or so.
I have been very slack lately. Tomorrow morning will be a mad dash to clean up the living room the best that I can before the very nice DirecTV man gets here. I haven't done laundry in at least 4, maybe 5, days. The dishwasher hasn't been run in 3 days. I did manage to clean the litter box this afternoon, so at least the kitten is happy.
Oh, yeah. Kitten. We named her Honey just so we can say, "Honey, I'm home!" when we walk in the door. Yes, I am a dork. lol Here is a very bad pic with my webcam.
I promise to take better ones next week. She is getting quite fluffy and fat. I think she likes it here.I have too much stuff. I can't really blame it on anyone else. I just need to shove 90% of everything in this tiny house right out the door. I need boxes. Lots of boxes. Then I can pretend I am moving. Only the boxes will land on Goodwill's doorstep instead of mine. Sounds like a good plan. Now where did that damn motivation go again?
I'm taking all online classes this fall. It has taken a bit of rearranging, but I finally have my classes scheduled. I will be taking English Literature, Art History, Nutrition, and Accounting. I am just going to keep chugging away towards that basic associate degree and see what come of it after that. I am just tired of driving all over the county to go to class and tired of spending insane amounts of money on art supplies. It sucks the fun out of it after a while.
